Three things I have been blown away at.
1. The amazing healthcare system that we have here in NZ. The fact that I can access a world class Neuro surgery team to perform the DBS procedure is truly a blessing.
2. The pastoral care supplied by the Marist family has been incredible. Our fridge and hearts are full.
3. The breadth, depth and range of support from my circles of connection - old and new friends, school and incredibly kindergarten friends, work friends, EM brothers, PwP and the PD community. Even TOTAL strangers (actually friends in the making) are coming from everywhere and nowhere and contributing to this cloud of support.
I am a very lucky man.
